The Main House
The stately Main House was built in the late 1700s, and was
completely renovated in 1993. (Read

Fully furnished and elegantly decorated, the Main House includes 6
bedrooms and 6 1/2 bathrooms, sleeping 11 very comfortably.
There is a large formal dining room, as well as a cozy
living room and
a comfortable den, and a spacious, comfortable
family kitchen, with state-of-the-art appliances.
The Main House is available for long-term rental only; references
are required. It is currently under engagement;
please contact us about renting the house at a future
time.

The den is a good place to catch up on work (there is a cable internet connection and a desk) or just to relax with television or a book.

The kitchen is one of the focal points of the Main House, where everyone can gather and enjoy a meal together.

If you prefer to dine inside, there is a large kitchen table. The kitchen offers a great deal of counter and storage space.

Custom-made cherry banisters lead up the stairways to the second and third floors.

A typical bedroom, with two very soft and comfortable twin beds with charming floral quilts.
The bathrooms in the Main House are all well appointed with modern appliances.
The porch at the side of the house is enveloped in blossoms and shrubbery throughout the summer, tended by birds and butterflies.
What better spot to enjoy lunch - or to sit under the stars after dinner?

The Main House is surrounded by gardens in the summer,and
its splendid porch welcomes dining or just sitting and
contemplating the glorious environment. Swim or canoe
in the pond, or watch for herons flying overhead.
