The long spacious living room includes a large fireplace. During the renovations, this room was meticulously restored, and close attention was given to maintaining the its integrity. The beautiful woodwork gives the room warmth and welcome. -
Off the living room, the cozy den has a wonderfully diverse library to delve into, large television with cable connection, and stereo system. The room is in a corner of the house and affords privacy if you wish it. 
The formal dining room, seating eight, is accessed through the library, living room, or kitchen, but is also very private.-
The large eat-in kitchen is airy and light (a more formal dining room is adjacent).
There is a detached two-bay garage a short distance from the kitchen door. 
Well-equipped with professional appliances, the newly renovated kitchen offers several areas to sit, chat, and relax. At the other side, there is also a cheerfully decorated breakfast area surrounded by windows.-
This wing offers a suite of privacy, beginning with this warm room, perfect for a quiet read oreven a nap. The windows at the end look out onto a beautiful summer garden. 
The full bath downstairs is equipped with both a bathtub (which looks
out over the fields below) and a shower.-
The sitting room upstairs offers invitingly soft chairs - a comfortable retreat. There are also areas for playing games or for chatting - a real family room. A sofa pulls out into a double bed, creating a fourth bedroom when needed. 
A bedroom with queen-sized bed, with spacious closet storage, attached bath, and large, bright room tucked on the back side of the house. Peace and quiet!-
A wonderfully comfortable twin bedroom, complete with lovely quilts for cooler weather. 
Wonderful private spaces abound in the Fern Brook House. This one is part of the preceding twin bedroom - a nice place for a bit of quiet reading.-
The Fern Brook House was once the family home for the large farm which operated many years ago in these hills. Its newly-constructed covered stone porch looks out over a very private valley, where sheep or horses often graze.

Built in the 1800s, the Fern Brook House is newly renovated. It is beautifully furnished, and tastefully decorated.
Three/four bedrooms and four full baths plus a half bath provide a very comfortable and elegant living space.
Take a refreshing dip in Fern Brook's spring-fed pond. Nearby are miles of hiking or cross-country skiing trails, and spectacular lookout points.
The Fern Brook House is available for rent on a monthly basis for $6,500; rates are subject to Vermont rooms and meal tax. References are required; we regret that we cannot allow pets in the house.
