There Is Much to Do!
The area in and around South Woodstock offers a wide array of activities year-round.
In the Winter
In the winter, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails network the area. Horse-drawn carriage or sleigh rides are offered on Birch Hill Farm. Top-class downhill ski areas are located within easy driving distance.
In the Warmer Months
In summer visit any of several golf courses nearby. Tennis and squash courts are just minutes away. Canoe or kayak on one of the many lakes or rivers in our area. Bike the miles of trails and roads, paved and unpaved, hike, fly-fish, trap shoot ... the possibilities are endless.

There are many excellent restaurants nearby, and a wide array of cultural events. Our helpful staff is happy to suggest activities particularly suited to you and your family's interests.
